The gorgeous Meghan Markle stole all the headlines with her minimalist yet elegant gown as she stood aside her new hubby, Prince Harry. It was a flawless occasion.
The media’s focus has since turned to figuring out where they might be going on honeymoon.
Here are a few of our suggestions, Harry and Meg, if you’re reading:
This place has some incredible reviews on TripAdvisor and other travel review sites. One particularly glowing one read: “Okuti is a beautiful camp on a fantastic game reserve with some of the best game spotting in southern Africa. It feels super remote, yet somehow the rooms are beautifully appointed with every detail taken care of.” It’s also said that the Prince sourced Markle’s diamond in this, the most diamond rich country in the world. He may just spoil her with a few more diamond accessories here.
Kulala Desert Lodge, Namibia
If the couple is into sand dunes, there’s no better place than Kulala, which is home to the tallest sand dunes in the world, Sossusvlei dunes. The lodge’s 23 beautiful chalets are secluded, allowing the pair some much-needed privacy. They’ll also be able to stroll around and enjoy the beautiful desert, as well the lodge’s other activities, including quad bike trips, walking tours, dune climbing, hot air balloon trips. Kulala is also said to have some of the friendliest staff around.
Mhondoro Safari Lodge, South Africa
Mhondoro is the only destination on this list I can personally vouch for, having visited a couple months ago. This isolated and luxurious 5-star hotel in the malaria-free Welgevonden Game Reserve stole my heart when during my first hour there I spotted the elusive leopard for the first time in the wild. My favourite feature of the lodge is the underground game-viewing hide which is connected with the main lodge by a 65m reinforced concrete tunnel. This hide is located beneath the waterhole which attracts a lot of game during the day, a perfect way for the newly weds to enjoy an afternoon.
